Yeah, maybe one of these days when it's warmer out and when I'm not too lazy to take it off again haha. It was a PITA for me to bolt it onto the rear center of the bumper area

i would like to see this on an ap1 bumper..
I think it might look better on an AP1 bumper because it doesn't have the extra curves to it as it has on the AP2.....I think

Yeah figuring out a solid mounting system is the other part of the equation. I knew I had to keep this in mind during the build or I might end up with a surprise I didn't want, thankfully it all turned out well. Again nice work on the diffuser, I have no experience working with fiberglass.

Thanks! .... me neither. It was all first time and learn as you build thing for me haha. I did a lot of research on the fiberglass before I started and to be honest I was a little hesitant to build it cause didnt want to waste money on a project that will fail. When I did start on it though, it was actually a lot easier than it all sounded, but it is really messing epecailly with the fiberglass mat.

The only thing is you may have to get good at removing it after all as I don't think the spray paint will stay looking nice for long. I'm not sure what the alternative is, I don't think you can powder coat fiberglass.

Yeah, I hear that. I've already scraped a few times going over speed bumps, in and out of the drive way. My car is already low enough and after I mounted the diffuser on, it's even lower I was thinking about raising it up a little bit but I don't think it will look good so I'll just leave it as it is and just touch up on it when and if it gets worse This was my main reason why I decided to make it myself, didn't want to spend $500+ for a diffuser that will get abuse haha

Yeah, I’d say you'd be getting off easy only spending $500 on something similar, besides making something functional and stylish with your own two hands is way more satisfying. I hate to see it go down the crapper, hopefully you can keep it someone preserved and not get too banged up.

Yeah, I don't want to see it ruin either, but the roads are out of my hand and sometimes you just can't avoid them as hard as you try worst comes to worst, I'll just have to raise the car up

so do you have any pointers you would like to share? would you happen to have a template of diffuser you made, and if you were to do it all over again, would you use the same materials?

I am thinking about making a front bumper under panel and a rear diffuser, but i am leaning towards aluminum.
