DRIVE: Stonehenge, WA
Yes, Im planning another one....sorta. I know its a bit late notice but Im gonna be down in Portland and Im going regardless. Just wanted to throw it out there in case some people wanna go with.
We can meet somewhere in Vancouver, WA. I'll ask the Oregon guys for a good meeting spot. Lemme know if you're interested.
THIS Sunday, the 25th, leaving around 9 a.m.

I went on this drive with the Oregon crew, before they limited attendance to locals only. The old historic highway on the Oregon side is cool too, a few waterfalls along that route.

My suggestion for the limits of my knowledge of the area, if you want a FUN time:
Start in OR and go to Troutdale and then up the Historic Highway (fun, but crowded)
Cross the Columbia at Cascade Locks (minor toll?) to Hwy 14
Take Hwy 14 to Lyle and turn onto 142 (Klickitat) (incredibly fun!!)
Follow 142 to Goldendale
Take 97 south out of Goldendale to Maryhill/Stonehenge.
