Default EVENT: Indoor kart racing @ Tukwila Sykart

WHERE: Sykart (near Southcenter)
WHEN: Thursday February 23rd, 2006

Come on down and test your mettle with a bunch of smack talkers. The track is indoor and sheltered from the nasty weather we've been experiencing lately. Within Washington this is the closest you can get to racing this time of year with out working on your wet weather skills. Sykart offers 6.5hp Sodi karts with adjustable seats.

We will meet at 8pm on Thursday February 23rd. Usually there are enough of us to secure sessions by ourselves. Its a blast, and at times rather comedic. Just a warning though, these are gas powered karts not the goober electric ones. Get ready to rumble!

Prices are $15 for non-members and $12 for Sykart members per session. For those of you with any level of physical robustness, you can purchase three sessions and get a fourth free!

For more information visit Sykarts homepage: http://www.sykart.com/index.htm
Their Phone Number is: 425-251-5060

The best part about these karts is after driving them, they make your s2000 feel like a luxury car for about 5 minutes before the feeling wears off.

I'll be there

I heard they've been making some major changes to the course, and I haven't gotten to try their new karts yet.

That would be the complete lack of suspension pounding your nerves into numb submission. People seem to underestimate the physical demands of these karts. I've seen more than a few of our office jockeys reduced to rubber arms after a single 10 minute session.

What are the odds of getting in for an enduro session?

If business is slow that night or a significant number of us are still there at 10pm, we might be able to swing it.
