Thanks again Roger and Chris for giving me the heads up on this car! I owe you one. Thank you to everyone for welcoming me to the site. I plan on doing group rides and local meet ups in the near future. Although I have gone to a few Boston's meets in the past... now I have a car to bring with me and I'm not such a poser, haha.

Pics with the new lip soon!

I am seeing things or does your top not fold all the way down?
Congrats on the new car. I dont think anyone locally can top that find for an 05 with 8k miles. You have to remedy that right away by doing some serious driving with Junky and the rest of us Maybe take it to the next dyno session at drift office to see what the motor puts out

The AP2 with the glass rear window doesn't fold down as far as the AP1 with a plasic rear window. Chris and I noticed the same thing on multiple AP2's that we looked at.

Thanks agian everyone for the comments. If I wasn't stuck at work today I would be out putting more miles on it!!

I'm wondering, maybe the top does need to be broke in? The ap2's we looked at Brian did all have low miles for the year, so maybe they just haven't been worked enough. Guess we'll find out on the next meet when we can compare to a few others. It would make sense that the glass top years 02+ wouldn't quite get as low since the glass cant fold like the plastic.

"I plan on doing group rides" something tells me you used to have a bike. Watch the weather Brian and I'll gladly go for a "drive" (not ride) some Saturday (I dont work another Saturday for four weeks). I feel like I should ask Bernardo for 10% of the sale

I just went out to see how far my AP2 top goes, the section of top between the two seat pillars on mine sits level with the trunk. I wonder if anything is wedged under it or as junky said it may need some 303 fabric guard and some use .

Nice catch Roger! Yes, I own a bike too. Although I will be selling it now that I bought the s2000. I will take a closer look at the top when I get home, but Chris and I looked at another 2005 s2000 that only had 32k miles on it and it came down to exactly the same point that mine does. I'll be interested to compare with some other AP2's when we all meet up. But I thin Chris is right on when he says it just isn't broken in and it's still tight.

Roger... Let me know how that 10% goes Either way, I owe you a beer.

Well Brian let me be the first to 'officially' congratulate you on the purchase of a real prize. An 05 with 8k on it has to be some sort of record . She looks like she just came off the show room. Looking forward to sharing a bunch of good times with our cars.... And welcome to the club!

PS- Special thanks to Roger for dealing with his co worker likely more then he would have cared to Thanks for the find Roger!
