Sorry to hear that. Which Bridgestone/Firestone store did you go to?

If you have a Costco card, I really recommend the Costco in Shoreline/Edmonds. Between me and a friend, we've gotten 4-5 sets of tires installed this past year, and they never f-up, and the bill always comes to $41-42 total for 4 tires mount/balanced (incl. tax). BTW- they will mount shaved R tires w/ no questions, but the Costco in Kirkland has turned me away.

The one in Tukwila near south center. I haven't had any issues there before, in fact one guy there has been helping me fix my CRX and has been awesome. Apparently, the weekend crew is completely different, and incapable. They are the ones that screwed up my rims.

the short version of what went down!

So I go to have new tires put on yesterday, They tell me it is gonan take 1.5 hours to do two tires, i say fine whatever please try to hurry i am on break from work. So an hour and 45 minutes goes by and there is my car all ready to go. I go look at the tires to see the fitment and guess what they are the same tires i had when i came in.....they didint change anythign. SO i go into the place and ask the guy what happened he went and talked to the people and basically noone knew what happened everone basically thought everyone else did the job and ptu the tires back on BALD dumbshits. at this point they tell me they will get two people on my car and finish it right now. well 30.....45.....an hour goes by i am fuming mad again i ask what is going on front des guy(not his fault) goes and asks what is going on....tech comes out. "you have reverse mount rims and we didint knwo that" so i ask what does he mean "we put them on our machine backwards" so i ask what he is getting at " we put a small scratch in one of them. So Now i am beyond mad and tell them to get the shit done and ill come down next week and they can pay me for a new rim......30 more minutes passes guy comes back out...."these tires are VERY hard to mount we have three guys cranking on them but we have scratched your rims even more...it is still not bad they can be buffed out and we will cover that. So now i am pisse dand picture minor scratches all over my lip right? Well another 45 minutes or so and the car pulls out of the shop so i go to check out my rims....there are HUGE chucks of the lip gone it looks like someone beat the lip up with a crow bar the ENTIRE way around it. And my powder coating got all scrathed down all the spokes....so now i have to go deal with this shit at 7am today and have him poney up some doe for new rims....it looks like they tried to them up i have never seen rims this badely damaged even after like curbing them......ing ridiculios

are they letting you keep your old rims? Might get something out of all this if they're repairable

Well, it wasn't so bad afterall. Just cost you, how long? 4 to 5 hours total? It is a torture to be mad for that long. How's your blood pressure at that time?

Eric, I can't picture you being mad for 4 to 5 minutes, much less 4 to 5 hours....
