i thought a little bondo was normal to "smooth out" the metal but it should be like 96% metal with a shade of it just to make it a solid finish, unless they replaced the entire quarter panel.

but i agree with junky, a wad of bondo like that would bother the crap out of me too.

That's just the glob of bondo the guy put on the car. He hasn't started sanding it down yet in the picture.. I'm sure when it's all flushed with the paint it will be more what street ruler was talking about, just a little bit to fill in light imprefections but mainly metal.

Good point. Although I'd probably just opt for cutting them anyway. In that case it wouldn't really matter.

When Spets comes to the dark side and wants to run some 295's, he will need to know these things

All done.. looks good! total cost was $3,300. New OEM parts. they forgot the license plate light cover on the bumper, but a quick call and they are ordering a new one. I'd go to them again.

what shop did you end up using?

i HAD a hookup through a buddy but he's recently moved on to other employment so i'm s.o.l. with my upcoming work and back to searching for peoples reviews of the local shops
