I'd like to get an idea to see who here in WA State (especially in the Puget Sound area) that doesn't run with a front plate. If so, have you even been in trouble (pull over, tickets, etc) with it?

I had driven my Accord without one for over 3 years and never had any problem. It's back on now because the car is lowered with rims (and 20% tint) and I don't want to get the popos any excuse to pull me over. On my BMW 330, I didn't bother to put it back on when I got new tabs and plates and so far so good (2 months) but I have 20% tint as well.

Feel free to share your thoughts and experiences. Thank you!

I've been pulled over a total of 6 times for no front plate on the S2000 in the past three years.

4 of those were on the white/red. Warnings only. All in downtown Bellevue.

2 of those were on the silver/black. 1 stuck and I ended up paying a ~$101 fine (UW popo).

Call me stubborn, but I still don't run a front plate. I'd put a front plate on a BMW, though. I don't think they look any better with them off especially if it's your run-of-the-mill 3-series.

It's kinda like running without a front plate on an Accord. Who cares?

Good luck,

3.5 years/43,000 miles with no front plate.

One add-on fine to a parking ticket ($38?), a couple warnings when pulled over to get other warnings , never been pulled over just for not having the plate.
