I'm selling my s2000 to get a bigger more practical car! The car has 37,500 miles on it! Its pretty much stock, i've got a carbon fiber hood, lip, and rear spoiler. Powdercoated oem wheels, lowering springs and an aem v2 intake. I have dynamat sound deadening, in the doors and through out the car. Always garaged/ well maintained. CLEAN TITLE. I'm asking 20,500 obo and located in springfield, OR.

Well ... the hard part isn't PHYSICALLY getting it across the border, cuz that's really simple. The hard part is dealing with the Canadian officials. I've heard that if you say it's a gift it's a lot easier. Either way you'll need some kind of bill of sale.

There's a thread on this subject in the Vancouver subforum.

I think it says all you need to do is pay tax and install DRLs.

And for the record, lying to customs isn't always the brightest of choices. "OK, body cavity search for this one!"

www.riv.ca

Expect to pay 6.1% duty, 7% GST + a bunch of extra charges. If you try lying to the customs guys you may find yourself in prison.
