I was contacted tonight to ask people for help.

IRDC is hosting a race on Aug. 16th and 17th, which happens to be the weekend that two other clubs are hosting races as well. It is great to have so much racing available in the PNW, but there is a real big shortage of Corner Workers and race support personnel to do this. The race will not happen without the required number of people on the track to flag or help in an incident.

We are in need of volunteers to help man the corner stations and such, so if you are interested and want to help out, you can PM me. I can forward your information to the proper people who can mail out information to you. There is some training required for some things, but I think they will cover all of that.

The really cool thing about helping out (other than the act of helping itself), is that you can have a pretty darn nice view of the track at PR, with a great perspective of how some of the best drivers in the region drive their line.
