Well, I was really hoping to have my car back before the July 4 weekend. Looks like it won't happen now.

The mechanic was reassembling the car and discovered that they had the wrong wheel hub assembly. I don't know if the problem was in the ordering or the shipping, but he ended up with one for the driver's side. Of course I needed one for the passenger's side.

Like all Honda parts, it now has to be shipped up from Portland. Not supposed to get in until Monday. probably another day or two of work after if gets in before the car is ready to paint, then a day or two to paint it, then a day or two to fix up the interior and reinstall the roof, then it still needs to be aligned and checked out, .... looks like it will be into the week of the 5th before I get it back. Almost two solid months.

Lesson learned: don't bounce the car off of any concrete walls unless you like spending a couple months waiting for it.

BTW, it's not going to be right the first time you get it back .... the second time either for that matter
