Hardtop Blues
My suzuka blue hard top arrived yesterday, so I dropped the car off at the dealership today. They estimated the installation time to be an hour which was perfect 'cause I had a doctors appointment that I figured would be done in an hour and a half. An hour and a half later I called them up to check on the progress and guess what?? They needed another 2 hours. (I figured as much, because when I looked at the installation intructions, it looked like it would take me two days). Anyway, 4 hours after dropping the car off, I arrive at the dealership. The top was damaged in transit and was not seating properly. They did a pressure test to see if it would resist water (if it did they were gonna let me use the dented top until the new one arrived), it leaked, soooo no hard top for me . I have to wait a few more weeks for a new top. The good news is that all the hardware is installed and it should be a quick stop next time to pop it on and adjust it.
Oh, and I gotta say, I loved the look, even if it was only on for ten minutes during the pressure test. If you see a blue S with a hard top driving around Vancouver, it'll probably be me!

How much did you get it for Sean?
Mine is definitely in hibernation mode... will be working on it as it sleep silently in the garage. You can't imagine how much it hurts to walk by it before I go to work every morning.
BTW, anyone know of a good shop that I drop off my front lip and spoiler?

Joey, my car is in semi hybrination. Since we have had such good weather lately, I have been taking it out on the nice sunny days. I am trying to avoid the bad days.
Cong, I honestly don't know. Mel negotiated the price and I wasn't really paying attention. It was less than $5000 and below the price quoted on the Internet (Honda.ca).

Hey Jeff, Indeed it was fun, I'm just a little sorry we didn't get better service and missed out on good music.
You say no brainer now, but you haven't seen it with the top on
