Default Help me out here!?

I see so many people going different sizes, widths and offsets on their rims front to rear. And my question is....

Is there some sort of equation or mathmatical way to figure out which offset goes with each rim size and/or width? I would like to go 17's or 18's and my main problem is not wanting to create an oversteer problem.

Sorry if this is confusing! But as you can tell Im quite confused myself!

There is an offset calculator and also a wheel fitment guide sticky which is very helpful. You can read in the link i'm going to post for you, it's very helpful. If you got more questions you can try ton look for xviper, he knows his stuff very well and has been really helpful in some stuff that i needed more clarification on.

here's the link to the most helpful link on rim and tire choices

if you are confused just PM me or something i'll try my best to help or refer you to someone who knows their stuff.

In simple terms - I'd just try to keep at a minimum of 20mm stagger. 30 would be better.

225F/255R is probably the most common setup for both 17" and 18"s.

Choose rim widths and offsets accordingly. There are very few wheels that really fit this car well unfortunately due to the high offsets required.

i can pretty much guarantee you will rub if you run 18s period. tire sizing screws us up.

it is just a matter of how bad will it be .. meaning spend more dough and go custom or go less and rub like a eotch.
