I just thought I would drop in and see what it's like over here in PacNW. My family and I are planning to move to the Seattle area next year. We are hoping to leave here around the end of summer, next year. I have been scouting apartments in the area and have found quite a few lookers. I just can't get over how beautiful is it. Anyway, my name is Jon. Thank you for taking the time to read this and respond

Hey!

I'm sure you'll enjoy the Northwest... it is a very pretty place!

What brings you out here?

What brings me out there? I would say a change of pace, more than anything. I'm getting tired of Houston and discussed with my family the thought of moving to Washington. They agreed and so we set a general time we would like to set off.

That and the fact that there is so much natural beauty there. From all the lakes, to the parks, to the mountains and the trees. We don't have much of that here in Houston.

If you do plan on moving here, I would say get here by spring or summer, that's what you want to enjoy fall and winter will prob scare you back to houston....well I take that back cause we don't have tornadoes here

I'm guessing part of the reason is the heat in Texas?

I've got some family in Dallas Fort Worth; it gets fu<kin' hot in the summertime, but I it!

Do you know anyone here in the area?

I said the Seattle area, just because it's general location. I've been looking for apartments and so far I really like Mill Creek, Issaquah, Bellvue, and North Bend.

I'm fine with the weather in WA. What you guys get for rain in a month, we get in a day. Of course, we do have our droughts. But when it rains, it pours. The weather is actually pretty similar from what I've seen. You guys just get more over cast, which I actually like.

No, I don't know any body in the area. Washington would be a whole new adventure for myself.
