Vortech S2000 running 11 psi here, AEM EMS, bigger injectors...I'd bet none of the Comptech guys here have a 350 rwhp dyno sheet and 40,000 kms of perfect blower operation
ACT 2600 lbs clutch = nice
it's a great street clutch.
If you want to pay more for something basically the same as the Vortech, go Comptech. 40,000+ kms under 11 psi now and the car is dead stock reliable. Heck, it's more reliable than my 737 rwhp Supra...
Anyways, www.lr-racing.com is where I got my SC installed and tuned. Talk to Lowell locally.

As for the reliablity of the two kits, I'll refrain from calling out a certain members Vortech problems.

There are obviously reasons why the locals are choosing the Comptech kit over the Vortech time and again.
keep the vortech kit. i have no problems at all. who cares if its ugly, its not like your going to drive around without your hood or anything. And if you show it to people they're not going to say "thats an ugly supercharger" instead you'll hear "dayum!" i made 313whp on a dynojet with stock boost. i say thats good enough. keep that shiznit.

Nearly a bar of boost and you are only making 350whp? I wouldn't call that a selling point. We have three dyno sheets where the unmodified 6lb Comptech kit WITHOUT aftercooler produces 315whp. With aftercooler you are around 335whp without further modification. You needed 5lbs more boost, injectors, and a $2000 computer to make 15hp. And yes, one of the Comptech-equipped guys here makes well north of 350whp with the bells and whistles.

Stock my car as a baseline did 196
Just the blower it did 310
Added pulley, injectors, computer it did 361 but we bumped the timing back for reliability and it did 350 through the stock exhaust minus a test pipe.
Maybe I should get an exhaust at some point, but I like quiet speed...
