Default I surrender: Finally put on front plate.

I've been bugged by the cops too many times. The one that broke the straw was today when the cop whose girlfriend I used to date while they were still together (she didn't tell me) yelled thru the speakers while in traffic: "Where are your front plates?"

Doesn't look too bad.

What a haunting picture... Oh yeah, the license plate thing sounds bad too. Welcome to the club.

My (ex-) girlfriend stole my front plate and I'm waiting for a new one!

Actually, the "initative" Tedster was talking about is a joke. If you have ever commuted across 520... well there you go.

Get yer filthy stinkin' human front plate offa my S2000!

But seriously, the idea of an initiative to get rid of front plates has some merit, and could work; the one about letting us use HOV lanes with two in the car is unrealistic, though.

I'm actually more interested in the 2-seater car in HOV lane initiative. Pisses me off to no end that a motorcycle can go in those lanes on 520 but my S2000 cannot.

We have to have front and rear plates in the U.K. For some years now motorcycles haven't had to have a front plate, due mainly to the difficulty of displaying one on the front of most bikes.
We are beset over here by the same automated camera speedtraps that you are.

Well... being in the 'European Community' for better or worse, Brussels is now the final arbiter in many legal issues.

I understand that many speeding convictions stand to be quoshed and many more are on hold due to the fact that because the camera has only one chance to get the plate no. on a bike, it is being argued that we the car drivers, are being discriminated against to the extent that it is a violation of our human rights
