Uh, it's illegal to alter the plate. You'll still get the same ticket.

From RCW 46.16.240
"It shall be unlawful to display upon the front or rear of any vehicle, vehicle license number plate or plates other than those furnished by the director for such vehicle or to display upon any vehicle any vehicle license number plate or plates which have been in any manner changed, altered, disfigured or have become illegible. "

I've also seen an S4 with euro plates and I've spoken with the guy. It's a euro car with euro registration.

spaceneedle, the guy's name was adam. he has a place in europe so the car's registered there.

I would go without the plate and take the ticket.

check out the fines. it's like a menu. just don't go nuts and order too much!
