Default ice on the roads

i was wondering if the state or who ever drops salt on the roads here. i was driving around today and its pretty ridiculous to me how much there was. traffic was down to 15ish if it was moving at all. i hit a patch or two, luckily no serious damage came of it. anyway, hope everyone drives safe out there.

The local jurisdictions do some de-icing.

Seems like Seattle was way worse than the Bellevue/Kirkland area today, don't know if they just got more snow over there, or what.

Anybody know how bad the Renton area is?

Some parts of Renton were worse than others. Grady Way and areas near Southcenter were not as bad as Fairwood and areas toward Kent.

Slow, slow, slow drivers out there today. Very annoying.

IMO, if you don't have the right tires and skills to be driving on the ice, then just stay home. Don't go out creeping around and causing problems for the rest of us.

I do, to some degree. But when they do exactly the wrong thing because they are being too tentative, it's frustrating and dangerous to the rest of us.
