My S02s with 2/32 (maybe) did just fine.

I wasn't drifting, so no!

And for the record, gravity was on my side this morning. I have some doubts that I'll get back up the slight incline that is my ice covered driveway.

i have had no problems driving around with my summer tires on. i think that a lot of the time people dont know what to expect when they drive on slippery roads so they fear the unknown. and also they suck haha.

IMO, if you don't have the right tires and skills to be driving on the ice, then just stay home. Don't go out creeping around and causing problems for the rest of us.

Even if you have the right tires for it, STILL doesn't mean you can handle the car.

And I'll cut some slack for those that are at least being cautious, or using common sense........ If that even exists anymore.

Or too smart.

I'm driving around an AWD Element, with Blizzak ice tires. If the S2000 were all I had to drive, I would be staying home today.

I made the mistake of taking my car out of the garage to turn it around and make more room to work on my neighbors car. It took me 20 minutes to get it back in b/c stock re 050's are not snow tires. I had to inch down the driveway, get out on the less slick street and get a running start to make it back in. My neighbor just laughed.
