Default I'm back...

Not that anyone noticed that we were gone. Melody and I just got back from a 2 week drive down the Oregon and California Coast lines. Wow, it was amazing! I have to say, Oregon was nice, but cold and foggy ( I should have expected that given the number of light houses on the coast). California, on the other hand was absolutely amazing. I strongly recomend that every s2000 owner do the drive along highway 1 from the northern starting point to Fort Bragg. I have never had so much fun on a road in my life. I actually couldn't stop giggling.

We made it as far south as Newport Beach, where we met up with a whole swarm of s2000 owners at the local hooters (I think there were about 25 cars). It was really cool, 'cause Hooters reserved half the parking lot for the cars (which was filled to overflowing). It was really cool to meet people in person (back cracker, steveuci, integrate, KT Suzuka and countless others). They were having a preliminary party for their "Mega Drive" which they hold once a year. Very interesting concept... At least 40 cars took part. They go on a top secret drive which involves a BBQ, many prizes and all kinds of stuff donated by Honda dealerships (for example all the cars got free oil changes and other work).

Anyway, it was mucho fun -- great drive, sun, sand, waves, great people and my wife... What more could a man ask for? We'll post pics later.

I don't think having an S2000 by next summer should be a problem for me and I would LOVE to do that drive...
