Default Insurance

Anybody out on the streets with a mod. "S" plus Nos. that knows who will insure the car. I can't seem to find anybody. I was in line with a co. called Hagerty, that even has a tuner dept. They were fine even after the extra paper work and more pics...............then they saw Nos. in the trunk, dropped me like a hot rock.

My record is clean, and over fifty. Those are not the issue, its the damned car. OOOOOOPS now what?

Any ideas

Idaho! Where have you been? Pushing a lot of dirt around?

Are you looking for full collision/comprehensive/liability? It might be easier if you are willing to self-insure for collision and just go for liability/comprehensive. I assume you have tried the "agreed value" route, if you have been dealing with Hagerty?

Does Idaho have a State Insurance Commisioner? You could try asking them for advice. Most states have a "high risk pool" from which you are guaranteed to get at least mandatory liability insurance, though it isn't cheap.

Hello everyone, and yes I was looking for full coverage. I wanted to be covered wrecked, stolen, whatever.

Yes, I have been pushing dirt, however I'm still in Iraq.

I've got a buddy that is going to put my car in the "HIN" in Seattle, and I wanted all of the pieces in place.

RT...can't believe you still have all those old pics on file. I have some new changes I could show you. I've been off this thing for so long I can't remember how to put them up. Ship me your e-mail and I'll just ship them to you. ITB's / foggers.

Good to hear from you guys, Tom

Come back safe, OK? And wear that hat next time you show up at another track event. It's not quite as distinctive as my hat, but it will have to do.
