Default Kent living

hey guys,

hers the deal i recently accepted a job in Kent at the Boeing space and defense site and i need to move from my current residence in Everett. I'm looking for a place that's around a grand, with a garage and washer/dryer inside the unit. preferably 2br.

anyone know any places or areas i should avoid living? for instance in Everett we have "hells triangle" its the upside down triangle that I5, 526 and airport road make. done live inside of that unless you like your stuff getting messed with.

also anyone have any recommendations of places to live? ex: this condo is really nice and open, this one has free cable ect.

thanks guys.

I grew up in Kent near the Panther Lake area off of 212th. My parents still live there, and I'd say that area was fine.

My girl friend lives in Lakeland which is about 5 minutes up the hill from the Boeing Center. There a few different condo/apartment complex's, and its a nicer area that you shouldnt have to worry about your stuff getting messed with

Kent doesn't have really any bad places to live. for all the things you're asking for $1k, that's gonna be hard to find.

i m in a same boat. i kinda like Renton Landing area and there are two apartments there with underground parking space. yes it's not a private garage but at least it's gated and covered. but price is a bit higher.

just stay away from Kent-Meridian High school.

If you dont mind a little bit of commuting, they got some nice apts around the renton area, off exit 5, close to the renton boeing plant.

Congrats on the job! I work at Boeing up in Everett...commuting from Bellevue, not just Bellevue, but the SE end of Bellevue...one street away from Renton T_T...
