i dont have a jack that goes low enough for me to get under the nose so i made some wood blocks that do the trick.

how do you guys get all 4 wheels off the ground in your garage without a lift?

intricate system of jacks?

blocks of wood + 1 jack then put stands under then jack other end?

what do you do?
1. Drive front onto ramps.
2. Floor jack rear and place on jack stands
3. Floor jack front, pull out ramps and lower onto jack stands.

I just did my first oil change as I recently purchased my car, and did the following:
(note--I was more concerned with getting the front of the car up, so that I had clearance for the front to work underneath the engine/oil pan)

1. Drove the car onto ramps/blocks

2. Jacked the front of the car up using a floor jack (front center jack point)

3. Put wheel chocks on the front and rear tires for extra assurance of the car rolling.

4. Put my jack stands on the front OEM jack points/pinchpoints.

5. I eventually decided to remove the front jack instead of the ramps as it got in my way during the oil change--if I removed the front ramps I would definitely not have removed it for safety reasons (and by ramps I mean improvised as traditional ramps do not work on the S2000 for clearance reasons).

If I needed access to both the front and rear of the car at the same time, I suppose I would have purchased a second floor jack to reach the rear center jack point (differential area)and then two more jack stands to reach the rear OEM jack points on the pinchpoint.

Here is a picture (and as you can tell it is not fully level since the front is a little higher than the rear)
