if you're gonna do this why not get a cage or a roll bar that will increase chassis ridgidity???
why perminantly? i can remove the hard top, and still use my soft top, that i fixed. The main reason i want the hard top, is to being able to leave the car on the street, and not worry about your seats being stolen.

I like the look of the hard top

As for your seats, I don't anything stops that from happening

A good start, get seat locks from this guy: Kodokan_4

youre right, but then still youre left with the slashed roof

Cut top isn't as bad as stolen seats. IMO. Tops can be repaired/replaced at a considerably cheaper price than seats.
