what's 24K service. Gold service, where you have fork over more $$$.
Don't worry about it. BTW, there is no such thing as 24k mile service on owner's manual.

I hate that, I had a dealer just tell me that a little while ago, "Oh yeah, we need to do the full 10k service on your S2000."

When I get stuff like that I loose respect for dealer service departments.

This may be blowing smoke. But was it the check engine light or maintenance required? The few times I have not got my gas cap more than snug, the check engine light comes on for like 300 miles (annoying) and turns off. That is in the owners manual as "normal".

It would be nice...don't BMWs do that? I remember that my M3 would count down lights until maintenance was required based on a handful of driving factors.
