They don't need to plunk him, 99/100 times he makes himself look like an idiot after missing while aiming for the moon.
You would think everyone should start taking lessons from Ichiro. All he does is put the bat in front of the ball with a hack swing and gets base hits. Seems like everyone is always taking power hits and trying to be the game winner.
However, it was nice to see Boone hit a slammer in the first inning, and then to see my man Jeremy Reed PH for Bloomquist and load the bases. (Kind of cool to see two pinch hitters get two hits in a row to score runs. That is the consistency I am talking about)
Melinda and I are heading to the game tonight to see if the M's can string a couple wins in a row.

That's weird, I was at that game too. Was pretty exciting, definitely good to see some things come together finally even though we barely held on to the game. We should all head up to a few games this year, stop by the Pyramid beer garden about an hour before game time and then head over.
That's always a possibility. Another one is that for 7:05 games my dad and I go to, we almost always go out to dinner at Shanghai Garden at 6pm. If anybody ever wants to join us there, just say the word. 16-game plan F on the Ms season ticket site gives you the schedule. http://seattle.mariners.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...ason_16game.jsp

I'll go but only if you guys promise not to get mad at me for wearing my Bo-sox hat. I'm a huge M's fan but you can love more than one team!
