Mariners fans?
I buy a pair of Mariners season tickets each year, and I'm looking for one or two people to join the group that I split them with for the 2003 season.
The seats are in the lower level, first base side, just under the overhang of the second deck, between home plate and first base, about lined up with the pitcher's mound. Section 123, Row 35, Seats 7-8. RT and rlavalle have been to games in these seats if you want to ask them how the view is.
Our price is $38 per seat, the single game price is $45 for seats in the same areas, but it's not easy to get seats this good for individual games without going to a ticket broker and paying a lot more. I'm looking for people who would take at least 10 games (pairs of tickets), so a minimum of $760.
If anyone is interested, let me know and I can explain the logistics and extra benefits, like playoff tickets.
Thanks,
Ted

Don,
are you sure?
I don't see a PM from you...
If you're have questions about the tickets, go ahead and post here, someone else might be interested in the answers, too.
How are you two doing? Long time no see!

For some reason, I sent the PM to myself instead of Tedster. Fixed now.Anyway, I wanted to know how you decide on ticket sharing - who gets what games etc.
The seats look great; people can get an idea of the view by going to the Safeco Field part
of the Mariners' Web site ( click here ) and clicking on section 123.
We're fine, just had a very busy summer and our schedule just never seemed to
match the drives, meets etc.
Cheers,
Don.
Thanks for the link to the seating chart/view deal; I'd forgotten about that!
In case anyone else is interested, we do a 'draft' for the 81 home games, where I randomly draw people's names to determine the order for the first round. Each person picks a game, and then we reverse the order for the second round. We keep going until all the games are gone.
There are usually 6 to 8 people in the group, taking 10 to 15 games each. I encourage people to try to trade within the group if they can't make it to a game that they have or really want to go to a game that they didn't get. As season ticket holder, I can also buy additional tickets on a priority basis for those games that multiple people want to go to. We sometimes get tickets that other season ticket holders have turned in this way.
We also get to buy our seats for the playoffs, if the M's get there. That's a whole 'nother optional buy-in with it's own draft, but is a big benefit, 'cause those tickets are really hard to come by!
