Some people will disagree but only use GENUINE Honda fluids. Owning six Hondas and 2 of them being s2000's I have had this debate and believe me only use the Honda ones. If the dealer doesn't know what to use then don't take your car their.

I would hope the tech's know better not to use VTM fluid in the car? I've never seen them do it?

I tried Royal Purple once..... not a fan of it.

with S2KANDNSX, use the recommended fluids.

The CR-V & Element use the dual pump fluid.

Ridgeline uses VTM.

ASK the dealer what kind of fluid they will put into the diff. If it is VTM-4 fluid, is is made for a CR-V and it WILL FCUK UP the differential. Honda doesn't have a "Honda Brand" diff fluid for these cars.
