Default news/rumors from PR

According to Don Kitch, the Fiorinos have applied for a permit to "harvest" gravel from the lot that is to the right when you drive in to PR (and is on your right when you enter T2). He says they plan to take gravel out of there 20 feet deep and sell it to the 3rd runway.

The money from that may be used to build new grandstands.

In the resulting space, apparently there are plans to build a shifter cart track.

Mike, if the information is from Don, it shouldn't be considered as Rumor right??

Anyway, I always wonder if there's any space for people taking videos at the braking zone before T2, somehow, I think it would be very cool as we blast passed the camera at full speed, then full braking and down shift....

Watching from the outside, isn't T2 the most boring corners?? Well, at least on track day?

1) Ha!

2) Cars have ended up going over that bank. The best place would be the T2A turn worker stand.

3) I worked T2B turn station for a race one time, and T2 is most definitely not boring on race day.
