NTB: Timing light
I need to do some fine tunning on my porsche and in need of timing light. I will need it for couple of days and I'll return it in prestine condition.
p.s. For other Porsche owners, I am very disappointed with Redmonds European and will never take my car there again. They left allen wrench in CIS adjustment slot and valvetrain is making more noise than before their adjustment and car is running worse than ever. I checked my A/F ratio and it was set at 16-17:1. No wonder it's not holding idle and keep dying on me. After adjusting to 14:1 idle is stable but, it's still running sluggish, and I think it's due to timing set too retarded.
Anyways, that's why I need to get hold of timing light. I am also thinking about rechecking the valve adjustments. If anyone wants to help let me know.

Haha, true, that's what I told Monty, "finders keepers." It was custom grounded to fit.
Messed up thing is he didn't even apologize for it.
Lig, thanks for the offer but, I already have few of my own. Guns that is.

Well, I asked him how my spec was before adjustment and he just said wasn't too bad and when I said it's bit noisy he just shrugged. And yes he did change A/F ratio several times with his gas analizer. He did find that there was a vacuum leak on one of the turbo seal. And he blamed it on that when I took it back first time. So, I bought 4 O-ring for $5/each and he asked me to bring it back when I got it replace. So, he adjusted it again. It ran okay driving back but, next day car won't start and when it finally did I have to put my foot on the pedal to keep it running.
Anyways, it's just not worth my time to drive back and forth trying to get him to fix it right. And fact that I don't trust him to good work anymore I am going to be extra critical anyways.
