that f**kin' sucks. my s was slashed and stuff stolen, including seats, 'bout 3 yrs ago. so i totally know the pain you're goin' thru. it sucks to have a nice car and not be able to enjoy it, with those d**kholes out there.

excuse my language ......... no one should have to go through that. with or without a garage, it's bound to happen. sorry to hear about your loss.

what country is it where they cut off your hand or fingers if you steal??

would never leave anything in the car again!!
no more radar detectors....no more air refreshners!!!
My insurance claim came through yesterday.
my S is due for a make-up on Thursday.

BTW....many people at my work says...my top was slashed because door was locked....duh??? who leaves the car unlocked at night??
or stupid of me??? what do you guys do? just unlocked the door and give them a free pass to sneak through my S???

How about those motion/proximity alarms??? should i invest another $700 in those alarming system?

Leaving your doors unlocked might have prevented a slashed top, but who cares if the damages are higher than your deductable anyways?

Sorry to hear about your losses. A good body shop will have her back in top shape for you in no time.

I learned that lesson many years ago, through the same painful lesson.

I do leave my "air refreshner" in the car, though. It's that little toggle switch that says "roof".

Sorry to hear about this... I had the same thing happen to me two months ago. These kind of people should be taken out and shot. I hope you get the car back together soon.

There are laptop hard drive encryption tools available on the market, in case you want to go that route for your next mobile device. We use http://www.pointsec.com/ ...

I've had 2 cars stolen and a few break ins when I lived in Seattle, it really is a bad feeling. When I moved in to this house I invested in a security camera for the outside with night vision and sound. Records 24 hours a day. So far it has deterred the thiefs. And if that fails I have the 40 Cal S&W which never fails.
