The other interesting thing is that you could draw a line in a different location on that same tire and get a significantly different line length. So maybe if you could get the sample size up by doing 10 randomly placed lines and adding them up, you could get a better idea of the area (oh hey, I just reinvented Calculus .... I'm so fu<king smart it hurts)

yeah, the problem w/ the old Jerry-matics is the order of magnitudes have been know to be off by large amount ...... the bug has been identified but a solution is far from being implemented
