What?, i was trying to get out of allstate too. tried to get a quote from Costco and they declined even a quote. The reason was "uninsurable vehicle (s2000)".
that's their polite way of saying "YOU ARE TOO FOCKING YOUNG" ........ since I've had Amex on my S2000 since day one

Yes, that's what the online thingy/email told me a year ago and I shrugged, stayed with Allstate.

This year, same deal - declined because of S2000 . So I called (rather, I
emailed, then called on the phone) and they said fine, quoted me a good price.

I have 3 vehicles, I'm a perfect risk , no claims or tickets etc etc so maybe
Ray is right. But it's worth a phone call to their customer service.

Cheers,
Don.

1070? That is one history making car you've got there! j/k

BTW - Allstate sucks. They cancelled my dad's insurance after he had a wreck that almost killed him - not even his fault. Bastards. I'll never do business with them.

I have a friend who works for Allstate. His insurance is through another carrier.

Every once in a while it does happen, though.
I wrecked my '93 RX-7 at SIR proformance school. Turn 9 in the rain, back when it ran over the dragstrip. Instructor was just about to say something, he said. I was thinking an instructor should know to say something before the crash, but that thinking is what got me into the crash I think.

Anyway, I got it all taken care of by insurance thank god, but I certainly wasn't expecting it, nor ever expecting it to go that way again!

I'll stick with USAA. They've always been good to me and never denied coverage on a claim.
