Had the same happen to me less than a week into owning my AP1.
You can either buy a new (complete assembly) glass window softop or you can choose to buy a used (partial assembly) plastic window piece to replace only the broken plastic window.
It will take the same amount of effort to replace either way. Most of your interior trim from the seats back will need to be removed.
The plastic window and its surrounding vinyl is held on by a zipper and rivets. You will definitely need access to a rivet tool and rivets if you want to complete this job (they're pretty cheap at lowes/home depot).
FYI: Most sellers who are doing "part-outs" will sell the entire assembly. It is a lot easier if you have the frame intact (remove and bolt-on).
As for just the fabric and window itself, I believe the Robbins Top is pretty popular. I suggest reading this thread to become more familiarized with the installation process.

In the meantime, I suggest a strong weather-sealed tape...

thanks. im just trying to do a quick fix since im driving down to california next week.
was wondering if someone possibly has a plastic window top just sitting around where i can just get the plastic window itself. i dont mind doing all the work myself.

Put in the glass window top, there's a few here on the board that have done the same and didn't change the frame. I've heard the robbins tops are cheap but definitely go OEM and if you know someone that works at a Honda dealer I think you might get it pretty cheap

lol mike let me know how much you can get it for. i was thinking about getting just the replacement plastic window if you can get that or i was going to order it from hardtopguy.com. Im trying to stay OEM, I dont think I want to go with a robbins top

If its a quick fix and the rip is not much, the same happened to me on the middle botton,i went to advance auto and bought some king of silicone, its like a very flexible clear glue for vinyl,i really forgot what its called. No leaks as of now,its supposed to be temporary for me but ive been using it llike that for the past few month with no problem.
