Default Repeated Honda letters for servicing

Do you guy get repeated letters from your dealers to have your car taken in for servicing. For an oil change I'll just do it my self - so I don't both to take it in. I've gotten three letters in the last month or so and on them they say you must take it in for a minimum amount of honda servicing in order to reatain the warranty. I've never taken in my previous Integra and warranty issues were never a problem. Is that BS or is the s2000 different in the terms of warranty??

Keep your receipts for the oil and filters that you buy. You could also note the date and milage when you changed the oil. That should be enough to prove service.

Yep. You just have to be able to prove that it was serviced.

Yup, I usually get it on my Acura as well. It typically starts like, "the owners manual states 7500 miles for an oil change, but most of our naive clients duped by years of brainwashing, bring their cars in 3000 miles...." Of course neither naive nor duped is in the letter, but the point is always the same: Disregard the manufacturer and please let us make money off of you anyway we can.
