You forgot Ted.
Ted's the Godfather. Needs no mention as he is omnipresent.

Just a clarification... Ben, you forgot the smoking part too - as in car parts and the cigarettes. You still owe me for the 'bet you can't smoke a cigarette for a full lap of Laguna Seca' episode.
WAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHHA pls it wasn't even a FULL lap

There's an "invite only", private track day (all day lapping) at PR on 6/21. It's currently capped at 25 cars. The list is aimed for seasoned/"advanced" drivers. Let me know if you're intersted.

Mike, were you on the list? If not, you interested? What about you Ray?
Who's putting it on? Is it "The Carpenter's Union"? I would be interested, but no, I haven't been invited.

heh.. pinging you with another PM here in a minute.

but as for your answer.

the "carpenters union" isn't until May @ Spokane, and I'll be there for that weekend with the avant.

obviously there's a small world syndrome going on here so I'll email ya the rest in a minute or two (damn this work thing...) but it pays for the habit....

thx,

d

Nah, I haven't forgotten you all, just too busy and broke to play much.

BTW on the original question, Honda's only going to make 5000 cars, and stop production after MY2000.

Yeah, I'm glad I got mine before they cut off production.

damn I can't remember the last time I was called (lad) gesch, I'm getting old! ;P

as far as the list of names :
RT -
mikegarrison
Jerrypeterson
lig and ananda
bannanie

bear with me if you get some PM's or random questions, but TIA for the help.

A pint o' beer to WRS2K when I meet you for the help / advice. My treat.
FWIW, we are doing a 2 day event @ Bremerton on May 13th/14th and if you are interested let me know. I know that as we near, we are always looking for additional people to fill the space so clickty click:

Thankfully I can make it to the Tuesday night Azteca gig so I can hopefully put names with faces & vice versa.

David.

S2000s with stock roll hoops are welcome? If so, maybe Ted should add these events to the Track Schedule thread.

So right now as it stands, no, which has caused a bit of a rift among people (for obvious reasons) Audi is one of the LAST remaining org's to stand on this rule.

further more, one of my good friends/fellow instructors did what i'm looking to do.

sold his 04 s4 avant and picked up a silverstone 05 s2k and is in love with it. he is still instructing at the event and is currently "negotiating" whether or not they'll allow it without either a hard top and or hoops. So I'll need to either post or PM back to you once I find out as I wouldn't want you to waste the drive over only to find this out, but would always welcome more enthusiasts! so let me check and get back to ya on that one.

thx,
d

David - I'll be out dodging cones this Sunday afternoon @ Everett. I predict a decent turnout of S2000s.

www.wwscc.org has all the info

don't count on meeting WRS2K @ Tacos though
