This is a re-post thread but sad none the less.
Actually, they remove the door needlessly quite often on the side of caution.
What is really sad is that the parents of a 16 year old kid let him have an S2000 as a first car..... way to go guys!
wow a rwd car as a first car for a new driver. i blame this on driver's parent. his first car should of been a honda civic or a corolla not s2000. no wonder he lost the control of the car and wrapped it around a tree. kids first car should be a fwd automatic with barely any hp to reach 60mph.

But if you havent been to the street races in Kent you will see just about every car imaginable! you hook a carebiner to the back of your corolla +40 hp and now its a race car!
