Default Seattle to do recomendations

Going to a conference at the University of Washington this Mon - Thurs this week. Will be busy during the day, but looking for a few recommendations for things to do at night. Will be staying just outside of the campus, but I will have a car. Looking for some good beer/food. Anyone have any suggestions how I can spend my per diem?

Seattle isn't Bozeman. We have a fair amount of choices for both good beer and good food. Perhaps you could tell us what kind of beer and food you like? And maybe also the dollar figure you are looking to spend?

Where they have neither good food nor good beer? I'm not saying the company is unpleasant, because it's not. But that's not really what he asked about.

Bozeman? What does that mean?

I was just looking for a hey, since you're in the area go to <insert place> vs. Ruby Tuesdays. We do it all the time for s2ki owners when they come out to Boston. Really like the meal I just had at Ives Salmon/Seafood. We tried the Ram restaurant in University Village which was a little meh.

Anyways. Thanks for the tip, will try the metro grill tomorrow.

The best Italian place I've found is "La Spiga" in capitol hill right next to the Ferrari Dealership. This restaurant is a "closer" so grab a date for the night! If you're going solo you can sit at the bar and enjoy the live jazz music as well!

Some things to try...

If you're looking for some futbol action, there are a couple places on Aurora near 75th... St Andrews is Scottish (pub food + lots of Scotch + lots of TVs usually playing some sort of soccer) and Kangaroo & Kiwi is Aussie (pub food + normal bar fare + a bunch of TVs playing either soccer or rugby). Good lunch places, not so much for dinner (food is just typical bar fare).

You could come to Azteca tonight, on 148th in Redmond, and meet the local S2000 group plus a few other visitors from out of town. Food is mediocre at best, margaritas are okay. Look for the loud table in back. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97382

If you like Sushi, you could try I Sushi in South Lake Union (on Fairview).

few restaurants recommendation.. if you want good beer, go to tap house in seattle, its in downtown seattle, on 6th ave close to pacific place shopping center, and next to levis jeans. they have 160 beers in taps.. or go to joey's in lake union, food and especially waitresses there are very nice!! just drive down roosevelt st, and it will become eastlake blvd, follow the road until there is a Y, u will have to hang right, drive for 1/4 of mile and you should see joeys on the right, its a waterfront restaurant. have fun in seattle!
