I was shopping around at a few of the local dealers. Seems like there are quite a few S2Ks in stock around here.
Anyone have an idea of what the pricing is like lately? I'm assuming MSRP shouldn't be a problem anymore.

I bought my S2k at Bellevue for MSRP. I wouldn't recommend them, though.
The best deals for cars are usually in Fife. A bit of driving gets you better deals and better service.

In Gladstone OR, (thomason dealership), I believer they are still going above MSRP. I have a relative who works there, so I did get MSRP .. when talking to the finance guy, he said that one s2k went for $3500 over, the rest $5k over ...

Bought mine at Lynnwood Honda and paid MSRP. I just went in and told them that either I pay MSRP - or I didn't buy from them at all and that I don't play dealer games. I heard afterwards that they weren't going to sell anymore for MSRP. When I picked mine up last week, they had two (a yellow and a white) on the lot. They've both been sitting there for a while. They let their customers test drive their cars. I told them that I wanted a brand new one so I could break it in myself. Took a little longer, but at least I know what I've got.

I know the pricing game in Seattle.
It's still about timing up here. Carol timed it right. I timed it right. Try Fife and Kirkland. Perhaps Lynnwood. It comes down to how their business is doing for the month and how many they have on the lot. So just call around, ask for what colors they have in stock and tell them straight out I will come and buy if you sell it to me for MSRP. Sooner the better.
Good luck.

I agree with SpaceNeedle. I was talking with Kirkland for a while on getting one and then it was warm out for one day the price suddenly jump 5k. I wasn't in the position to buy right then but I am really glad I wasn't. I think I can get one as MSRP at Bellevue. I found out that my realator knows the the Manager of the place. Maybe I can get it cheaper... Now if I could just come with with that down payment :-)
