I'm considering a 3yr lease - any ideas on how that would price out in the Seattle area? Given 2000-3000 down?

I'm guessing a little over $500 a month with a residual in the high teens.

Just a guess though, hard to know on cars of relatively high demand and little resale or durability history.

Let us know some real numbers if you come across any

Hey Carol
Haven't seen you around.
My silver/red one came from Lynnwood last year.
They did the Trans , Clutch and Seatbelt recalls
and I like how they handled it. They let me in the
back to take pic's of the whole thing. Car was kept inside
the whole time.

She you at the Boeing parking lot AutoX.

I think you're right SpaceNeedle - timing is everything. It was still cold, wet and rainy (hey! wait! it's still cold, wet and rainy!!)when I ordered mine. The weekend after I ordered mine it was warm and sunny. Lynnwood Honda sold 3 that sunny weekend. I bet they didn't pay MSRP. My salesman even told me that I hit it at the right time....that they would be asking more as the weather warmed.

Lawrence, I'll keep an eye out for you. The only S2K I've seen on the road so far was by the Edmonds ferry dock - a white one. I'm actually in Silver Lake and drive north to work.

I'm looking forward to seeing more S2K's when we meet in Redmond. My husband works at Microsoft and keeps asking me when I'm gonna let him drive my car. I just smile and say when I get tired of it!

Hi Carol
AutoCross is fun. You race your car against the clock.
They will loan you a helmet. Just take all the lose
stuff out of your car (mats etc.) and drive around the cones.
Only one car at a time. You will get 4 runs and will
never get out of 2nd gear on the coarse I would guess.
Hope you have 600 miles on your car...!! If not ...
just seat back and watch.
Not sure I will be racing but might stop by.

Boeing West parking lot..Sunday..Drive around the
plant until you see cars and orange cones all over
the place.

Drive it like you just stole it !

Regards

The best deals for cars are usually in Fife. A bit of driving gets you better deals and better service.
Fife, seriously? When I bought mine back in Feb 2000, I called Fife. The guy on the phone offered $50,000! I asked if I was speaking to Barney Fife (he didn't get it). What a joke.

I also called Auburn (I believe that is who it was) and they were incredibly rude. I've never seen anything like it. I would never buy from them.

I bought mine in Kirkland and it took 2 days, including me walking out, to get the deal done. I paid over MSRP, as everyone here did back then, but I did get the car that day instead of 4-5 months and also over MSRP that I had setup with Bellevue.
