Mmm interesting response RT, Do you feel i'm out of line here? I don't feel like reporting anyone, its not my job. But what I would like is for his buddies up at Taco's or wherever that post to this site to acknowledge this guy has big issues with personal attacks on members he doesn't know and tell him to take it down a notch and keep it within his friends, or people are going to take it in not a positive way which has been tested over and over and over again, its creating a rift in the club and local social scene. Do you agree? Or am I the bad guy now for bringing this to attention again

 

Why can't we be one big happy s2ki family? Jerks out there stop bothering people lets grow up from our earlier high school bullying days.

 

Would be nice, but unfortunately there are always some individuals who have issues with low self esteem and really big egos and when you mix the two it creates some abrasive quality's for the some of us that threaten them in some twisted way. My fault is I can get sucked down into that mentality because of my own ego. Enough said.

 

 

And as an FYI- I showed up at tacos a number of years ago now knowing nothing except what Jerry Peterson looked like in his avatar, and at this point am quite proud to call people on this site good friends.

Point being, your thought about people showing up at tacos without "ins" being rejected doesn't really work.

I gotta honestly agree with Chris here on some points. While he isn't trying to stick up for the 'younger' crowd, I see his point. Another meet would be pretty nice, especially if it wasn't just 21+.

Being as I used to be one of the most active integra people on another board I was on, i had setup a lot of meets and drives, and there became a expectation from people I was going to keep doing it, and when I stopped the scene pretty much died for a year or so. It took a while for people to realize they could do their own planning and finally its kinda cool to go out to a meet and see what happened where I left off.

I myself am 22 and I've been to tacos numerous times... not for a while but I've still been there a bit. Would it be nice to be able to bring my Girlfriend who is 20 out with me? Yeah, granted in a couple months I could but that isn't the point. These cars are starting to get more affordable to a younger crowd and pretty soon you will see a lot more of them buying them.... and sooner or later people are going to probably want to do a different type of meet (esp not 21+). Im not trying to rag on anyone or anything, everyone I've met from here has been pretty cool, but I can honestly say it'd be nice to have something else to go to at times.

Would it be nice to do something different than tacos?

Yes, can you honestly say it'd fail if we don't try?
