I was turn working at the SOVREN races today. Lots of cool old race cars. Some really interesting cars off the track, too. Saw my first Elise; looked pretty good parked in next to the race cars. I also saw two Bentleys -- one that was some kind of race car from the 30s(?), another that was a modern luxobarge.

Only serious casulty of the day was an E-type that got STUFFED into someting down at T5. Don't know it if was the bank or the tire wall, but the whole front end was trashed.

 

Sounds like fun. Where is that event held? Too bad about the E-Type. IMHO, the E-Types along with the Aston Martin DB5's are the most beautiful cars to come from England.
