Well, he is, kind of. But yeah, you've got to love that. "All my others broke in the same way...."

Turns out that Ford did improve the reliability a little bit. The newer trucks come with a backup manual locking system. We tried that this morning and it worked. So autolocking is busted, but with the hubs locked in manually we still have 4wd.

Track is solid ice with snowdrifts. School has been cancelled for the day, but we're hoping to get enough of it cleared off to have the track open tomorrow.

Methinks the corner workers must be having a "not fun" time. Hope you guys are giving them some bonus acknowledgement.

No corner workers on Friday. Saturday we had some scheduled, but the day was cancelled. Too bad about that, actually, because by 12:30 or so the track was dry.

There were a few instructors who did a lap or two (or a few more) just to "check out the conditions".

I met a guy who has a new CR, with 80 miles on the odometer. I gave him a few recon laps around the track, showed him the line, etc. He's the Moses Lake Ford and Honda dealer.

The video from the snow laps came out well. I'll bring it by Tacos sometime.

... took me till almost two minutes in to it to figure out wtf was going on. I kept going "where is this on the track?" till I saw the grand stands on the wrong side and "figured it out"..... freaky!

With the track empty, a few of us decided to see what it looked like in the opposite direction. Low speed, low key. T2 is really weird. 6/5/4/3 is fun.
