Default Thank god

So, I got a set of red OEM seats on ebay, and mounted them tonight (for those who don't recall, my car was broken into and vandalized during that whole rash of break-ins about six months ago). I have them mounted in an ingenious theft-deterrent fashion that I don't want to disclose in case some thieves troll here, but in any case, I'm no longer quite so fearful that I'm going to come out to find my seats missing.

Taking it out today was just pure bliss. I picked up one of the girls I'm seeing and spent basically all day cruising about. I hadn't forgotten how wonderful S2000's are to drive, but rediscovering just how great an experience it was.... yeah.

So then, it's now come to my attention that in the interceding months, my S2000 has become what is best termed as a piece of shit. It got rained in and despite my best efforts it'll need new carpets. The front fender is still messed up and the bumper is, too. Victor sold me a top a few months ago (you rock, dude!) but I haven't gotten a chance to mount it. I'm in a better financial situation now, and would like to get at least some of this rectified, so I'm putting the following out there...

1. I need new carpets. When I bought my car it didn't have floor mats, and thanks to the fact that I wear Doc Martens 2/3 of the time, I wore a nice hole on the driver's side, and then they got gross from the rain. I shampooed and scrubbed them hard but, you know. Moreover, now that I've got red seats, I'd like to have some red carpet... so... if anyone has some carpets for sale, let me know.

2. Silverstone driver's side fender and bumper, could be AP1 or AP2. Cheap is the key thing here. I'm working, but things aren't as awesome as they could be...

3. Paint shop hookup in lieu of silverstone parts... I'm sure someone knows someone and know there are a few people here who know how to paint as well. PM me, let me know what's up.

4. Assistance in mounting the new top - this is the whole assembly, not just the cloth. I've got no tools and am largely inept at auto mechanics. Willing to compensate with money, alcohol, friendship, original artwork, etc.

So let me know what you've got, and thanks everyone (in particular Vietshiet and knlg) for your support over the last few shitty months!

just jokes... I'm just a hater

Glad you got the car up and going again though. I didn't realize the car went "down" when you told me your seats got jacked after we met at Dick's last winter. Good luck getting some pieces together.
