actually, we've been using a device that's exactly the same idea as the HotLap but smaller, called UltraLap ....... something Russ was hipped to from Motorcycle Lapping where the HotLap would not really be practical from a size perspective.

The rules tighten up a lot in the weekend schools, but the FATTs are really wide open. And yet, I've never had a problem there with idiots. Generally I think Scott manages to keep them out.
