so I missed the fun!!! again, as expected.

[QUOTE]Hard to say...especially when Kitch's initial scolding included the admonishment to get his RIGHT tire within an inch of the apex cone on Turn 8...?!

So what, furled black flags are substituting for the meatball these days?

Proformance doesn't use the meatball. Too much information, especially since the driver's response (come in) is the same.

The furled flag is just a warning. I'm sure Ray was worried about it -- enough to maybe think about waiting until some less obvious part of the track to do whatever he was doing.

Ray's the kind of driver who gives them fits. They probably aren't able to tell easily if he knows what he is doing or if he is just lucky and hasn't crashed yet.

Whew. That was fun - and tiring.

I love RT's in car retort to the T8 apex. Clipping it every lap

Good seeing Brant an and Drew out today goofing off with us.

I've never enjoyed a slight admonishment more than the one I got from Kim today. <dirty old man mode on>

Young looked racy in the Exige and I enjoyed and scared myself sliding the p-car around.

No joke - the LeMons car rotated more easily!

The Festiva was a bit down on power though.

BTW, point-bys were seriously lacking yesterday for some reason and it seemed the problem ones were w/ instructor most of the time. I can understand if they are working on something or the instructor has the mirror but when your pulling a 5 car train for 3/4 of a lap
It was pretty annoying - the freakin' Miata w/instructor and the Fit and even *ahem* an unnamed person in the dirty 997 weren't all that good about point-bys.

You guys really should come over for the FATT events at Spokane. Those are so fun. Open track, pass anywhere, pointbys are the rule but somewhat optional if you know who you are driving with. Trains essentially non-existant.

The rules tighten up a lot in the weekend schools, but the FATTs are really wide open. And yet, I've never had a problem there with idiots. Generally I think Scott manages to keep them out.
