I was at Dick's at about 1.30 am with my roommate, and as I was walking back to her car (since my S2k is still seatless) I saw a red AP2 that had just pulled up. Figuring I'd do some community service, I went up to the guy to warn him about the seat thefts, and we ended up having a brief conversation about S2000's.

Him: "Are you on S2ki?"
Me: "Yeah, I'm Tristan_S."
Him: "Oh, cool man, so did you get a new top?"
Me: "I was gonna pick one up tomorrow-"

Then CRACK!

Some dude in an Isuzu Rodeo with a huge spare tire on the back just full-on backed into his passenger's side door pretty hard.

It was surreal... we were talking about how messed it is that S2000's keep getting f'ed up and look what happens!

It's like there's some sort of divine/metaphysical hex against our cars, I swear :/ Hope that everything pans out with that dude's insurance, Alfonso... that really sucks

 

that may be the most horrible thing i have heard this year. I'd beat that dudes ass haha

 

He was pretty pissed off, like I was when my car got nailed... he was being cool but then he'd look at it and be like, "AAAGH @$#%%!" and the little guy (seriously, the dude in the truck was like 5'4) would get all freaked out and go, "Just be cool, I have insurance, it's okay." The guy with the S2k was like, "no, no, it's cool, I just... @#!@$%~~!!!"

Seriously, that is some sh!t. Such a bummer, being all stoked to drive the S2K around in the PNW (it's been in the midwest all it's life, but I'm from here and brought it back since I'll be here for a while), and then having some random dude just back into it. I wanted to hit something, but didn't want to hit my car, haha!

This makes me uber pissed, and sad. At least the window goes down and all the damage is central to the door..... I guess. WTF!!!
