I haven't had personal experience with "3C" but I've heard that it's real rough out there. Maybe that's why I see Cayenne (sp?), X5, Saturn SUV and the like occasionally tracking at PR.
There was an annoying 944 last Tuesday who refused to let people by, letting them stack up four or five in a line before starting to let anyone by. I was coming up on him yet again around T2, annoyed that I was going to have to spend a couple of laps following him before he let me by, when, to my delight, he "decided" that "3C" was the way to go. When I got around 3B to where the runoff road meets the track, he was sitting there waiting for traffic to clear.

Sorry I'm bringing back the topic about the 3a hump...

I had asked Don, since the hump will lock up my front end big time, he suggested me to try moving the car outside from the left a little bit.

Ever since I did that, I have never had a chance tried going over the hump anymore. My line is more like move my car out a little, so I could brake a little later, but then my turn-in is a lot sharper into 3a, allowing me going into the (inside?) more... Maybe I'm wrong, with using the inside line, I don't have to use all the road for tracking out before 3b, so at slower speed I could turn in a little sooner at 3b.....

I had tried to take the school line, even open up the throttle more between 3a and b, then brake deeper into 3b.

I need to go home looking at my driving these days... memory is kind of blurry.

I always use the following 20 step procedure when exiting 3A and approaching 3B:

1) Check rearview mirror for the cops
2) Put down the bottle of Vodka
3) Roll down window
4) Wave to Corner workers - They should be watching this...
5) Adjust waving techique because they didn't notice me: elbow-elbow-wrist-wrist
6) Flip RT the 'Bird' as an afterthought
7) Countersteer left
8) Put both feet on the brake pedal when I reach less than 15 degrees left rotation
9) Toss my cigarette out the window
10) Stare at the uneven pavement on the turn entry - Debate whether to turn left or right
11) Take left foot off the brake pedal - use left knee to initiate left turn
12) Light another cigarette with free hands
13) Take right foot off the brake pedal - activate accelerator with it
14) Countersteer right
15) Lift right foot off of gas pedal to recover vodka bottle
16) Countersteer some more
17) Check rearview mirrors for the apex
18) Give up and point the car towards the exit cone
19) Run over the exit cone dropping three wheels off and ride the grass until Turn 4
20) Check to make sure video camera was off

I think this is where you give up a little bit of time. If you combined this with the waving, you would shave an eternity off your overall lap time.
