I get the max dyno'ed HP from Arco.
That surprises me since my mr2 turbo ran horrible with arco. Though that was ~ 8 years ago. Things probably have changed since then.
Yeah Arco actually Completely made my boosted hatch run like crap! Cars performance lacked so badly it was night and day (i street raced it) and getting off the line was super sluggish and was tuned perfectly but with arco it popped everytime under slight load on the turbo like it was running running really rich and it started sputtering and acting funny so i sifened the gas out put the chevron injector cleaner and shell gas and amazingy ran like it did before! Either unfortuanate experience or they in fact sell really terrible gas

You're basing this on your butt dyno though, I'm logging with AEM EMS to track results and I see ZERO change tank after tank.

What change do you figure could make your car feel rich? if it did that would mean it's BETTER FUEL! Richer would mean more power per gallon of stored energy such as in diesel fuel.

So here's what IS possible, if you filled up at 3am on a freezing cold day the fuel temp can be much colder, this makes it denser and thus your car could run rich but that has nothing to do with the brand of fuel. In motorcross I typically run cold oxygenated fuel to make more hp, it's an old trick I've used for years, makes a small hp boost.

This is just plain silly......

Again, gasoline is gasonline, it certainly hasn't changed in 8 years nor 1000000000 million years. It's a chemical composition. Just the same that pure water is H20, it never changes, additives might but that's all. Additives don't affect hp or tuning whatsoever.

I'm fully built for 800hp in my car and no matter what brand I run, nothing changes at all.

I totally would agree even though my experience was a couple years back if not longer but it was clearly the gas that messed up my hatch it dosent like boosted cars and some boosted cars dont respond very well i think to do with ems reading something wrong?? Ive heard of this from alot of sti owners

Well one thing that CAN happen to any brand is they can screw up and fill the station tanks with the wrong octane. I personally saw this happen one time, they mixed 89 with 91 here in california at a station. I pointed it out to the trucker who was VERY embarrassed, especially when I told him my turbo car would be in serious trouble if I had run a tank of 89 and the EMS didn't bail it out before it destroyed itself. That can happen anytime, watch your knock sensors people. I've got an audible alarm hooked to my EMS to hopefully avoid this for me.

That could of been thecase andi fiiled with premium the highest they offered it could have been swapped by accident my friend filled same time in his turbo type r and had same issue! I didnt dyno the car or see power but you could plain as day feel it! Was super sluggish and was horriblely slow! The popping didnt happen anymore after i swapped out that gas but went back to being ridiculously fast and didnt pop as much! The fuel system was tuned to my hondata and it wasnt running rich enough to pop that much?? It was probably not good

Yea certainly doesn't sound good, having a look at your spark plugs right after would usually tell you if things were going badly and damage was done or not.
