Ok let me clarify, If your car is quick enough to pass a 6 pack of Prius's and minivans on a double yellow within 60 feet, then that is sensible. If not and you try anyway, then that is not very mature of you.

I might be down to go...along with a buddy of mine who has a S2000 (not registered on S2Ki yet though) and one with an IS350.

Can I offer a suggestion though to avoid freeways and stick to the twisties?

^^^ yes hyw 2 is the best and most scenic. It is only a single lane for much of the way though so it can get frustrating at times with a convoy of mini vans….or its real exciting depending on how you deal with that, and a sizable group.
