Issaquah Chevrolet has a used MY 2000, Silverstone/Red for
sale now at $25,600. (Internet price, marked at $25,950 on the car).

VIN is below; anyone know this car??

The catch? It's a Canadian model so probably not under
US warranty. But the price is right.

I had a look at it this afternoon. It looks in very good shape, has a
front lip and security system, otherwise stock I think. No obvious
problems though the rear tires will need replacing. Owner traded
it in on a Corvette, the salesman thought. I did not start or drive it,
and did not look under the hood (too time pressed) but did sit
inside, looked all around.

I told you to call. Can't say he'll deal but he was very accomodating
when I talked to him (for a used car salesman!)

just a word of caution which you may already know, If you are buying a s2k or any honda and the price is darn good be sure it is not made in canada becouse the warranty is not valed in the usa. You can tell by the VIN number on the s2000 there should be a T for tocheba Japan plant (ok I cant spell) about the 11th space. mindimudd

 

Thanks for that word of caution, mindimudd. When I sort stuff out and find myself back in the market I'll keep my eyes open if I go used...

 

Uh... I have a "Canadian" S2000 and it was definitely not built in Canada. All the S2000s are built in the same plant in Japan. You are correct about the warranty, but hell Brant, if you need some warranty work done, Canada it isn't that far from where you live

BTW, we have some really good prices up here and boy does your dollar go a long way.
